Mediaworks designs some of the most creative video projects around. These guys have some serious talent and wanted to showcase that on their website, front and center! The first thing you see on the site is an eye catching video. Below that, more videos! The message is clear. CUSTOM VIDEO PORTFOLIO

Mediaworks already had a YouTube channel going, so we built a custom designed component to stream the videos directly off of YouTube and into the video portfolio. One of the keys here is that we used JavaScript instead of Flash to build this custom video portfolio, although this took some extra time. If we would have taken the "easy" road, with Flash, no one on an iPhone or iPad would be able to view the video portfolio, which is the most important part of Mediaworks.Tv.

EASY TO UPDATE

The guys at Mediaworks are busy shooting and editing video, they don't have time to monkey with a website. That's why when we coded their custom video portfolio, we also made it one of the easiest things in the world to update and maintain. Seriously, they can add a new video to the site in less than 10 seconds, and get back to doing what they do best. That's a serious kick in the seat to their productivity.
